Equipment

Kit matters less than people assume, but clients ask, so here it is.

Airframes. Two heavy-lift platforms for the cinema bodies, three compact airframes for tight sites and inspection work, and one fixed-wing for anything over about eighty hectares of mapping.

Cameras. A full-frame cinema body on a three-axis gimbal for the film work, plus integrated sensors on the compact airframes. For mapping we fly a mechanical-shutter sensor — rolling shutter and photogrammetry do not get along.

Ground. RTK base station, two sets of comms, and enough batteries to keep one airframe in the air more or less continuously through a shoot day.

We replace propellers early and batteries earlier. It is the least interesting line in the budget and the one we never cut.
